Clevite MS1495P10 P-Series Main Bearing Set Undersize - 010

The Clevite MS1495P10 is a P-Series main bearing set designed for engine rebuilds where more demanding use is anticipated, including heavy-duty applications, motorsports, and street performance. This set features .010 inch crankshaft undersize for precision machined crankshafts.

Tri-Metal Construction:

• Hardened steel backing for superior structural support
• Cast copper-lead alloy intermediate layer to withstand high engine loads
• Electroplated babbitt overlay on running surface for excellent wear characteristics
• High crush factor ensures maximum bearing retention in the bore
• High eccentricity design compensates for bore distortion under load

Performance Features:

• Engineered for high-revving engine applications
• Superior conformability and embedability compared to bi-metal bearings
• Excellent fatigue resistance for extended service life
• Reduced overlay thickness helps prevent overlay fatigue
• Extended oil grooves on both halves for improved lubrication

As the most versatile replacement in the Clevite bearing family, P-Series bearings are suitable for most OE applications while providing enhanced durability for performance use. Clevite bearings are color-coded by undersize for quick identification and error-free installation.
