Product Details

The Borla 140517 S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System delivers aggressive performance sound and proven power gains through advanced engineering and premium construction. This complete cat-back system features 2.25" diameter tubing optimized for Mini Cooper S applications, providing the ideal balance between exhaust flow and velocity.

Performance Features:

  • Patented straight-through muffler technology maximizes flow and reduces backpressure
  • Mandrel-bent T-304 stainless steel tubing maintains consistent diameter throughout bends
  • Classic S-Type sound with no drone inside the vehicle
  • CNC precision manufacturing ensures accurate, bolt-on fitment
  • Dual outlet muffler with single 4" round mirror polished stainless steel tips on each outlet

Construction Quality:

  • Built from premium T-304 stainless steel, superior to T-400 series knockoffs (such as 409)
  • Aircraft-grade austenitic stainless steel resists corrosion and heat damage
  • Ultra-smooth mandrel bends maintain maximum exhaust gas velocity
  • Fully welded stainless steel construction throughout

This system delivers the distinctive Borla "Sound of Power" recognized by enthusiasts worldwide while adding horsepower, torque, and improved throttle response. Complete installation kit included and backed by Borla's Million-Mile Warranty. Note: Excludes John Cooper Works models.
