Product Details

The BD Diesel Bypass Tube Eliminator Kit is designed for Ford 7.3L Power Stroke engines (1999-2003) equipped with the 4R100 transmission. This kit allows for the complete removal of the factory cooler bypass tube assembly, which has a well-documented history of failure that can bypass the transmission cooler precisely when cooling is most critical.

What's Included:

  • Two precision-machined aluminum shunts
  • Sealing washers for proper installation

This kit serves as an excellent preventative maintenance solution when installing transmissions, auxiliary coolers, filter kits, or during routine service work. By eliminating the problematic OEM bypass tube assembly, you ensure consistent transmission fluid flow through the cooler under all operating conditions.

Installation: Approximately 1 hour

Warranty Coverage: 12 months or 12,000 miles on parts

Emissions Compliance: This product does not require an Executive Order (EO) in California and is legal for sale and use in all 50 states.

Note: This bypass eliminator kit is already included with all BD Diesel 4R100 transmission assemblies, auxiliary filter kits, Xtruded cooler kits, and Built-It rebuild kits.
