The Ksport BKHD140-611SO ProComp Big Brake Kit is a front, 6-piston, slotted-rotor big brake upgrade engineered to deliver dramatically enhanced stopping power over stock brake systems. Floating 2-Piece Rotor Design

This kit features a 286mm (11.3 in.) ventilated 2-piece floating disc. The floating outer section is designed to shift slightly under load, allowing better self-centering in the caliper to reduce brake drag and promote more even pad application. The 2-piece construction with an aluminum center hat reduces both rotating and unsprung weight compared to a conventional solid rotor. The floating design also minimizes thermal stress, greatly reducing the risk of rotor warping or braking surface cupping under extreme heat. Every rotor is heat treated and balanced before shipment for consistent, reliable performance.

Slotted Rotor

The slotted rotor style features a unique slot pattern that rapidly expels gas and pad debris from the contact surface, reducing braking noise and maintaining consistent pad bite. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles with frequent track use or performance driving where sustained high-heat braking is expected.

Stainless-Steel Braided Brake Lines

Brake Pads Included

Each kit ships with high-quality Ksport SC5 street brake pads featuring a low-dust ceramic compound with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1,022°F, suitable for fast warm-up under normal driving conditions. Upgrade to RC1 race pads is available for dedicated track applications.
