Spectra STR85 Premium Fuel Pump Strainer OE Replacement

The Spectra Premium STR85 is a direct-fit OE replacement fuel pump strainer engineered to protect your in-tank electric fuel pump from contaminants and debris. Mounted on the inlet of the fuel pump inside the fuel tank, the strainer acts as the first line of defense against particulates that can cause premature pump failure and restricted fuel flow.

Spectra Premium strainers are developed with gradient density filtration material tested and validated for flow capacity, ensuring optimal filtration without starving the pump of fuel. Each unit is engineered to stringent tolerances, matching the OE part it replaces for a precise, no-modification fit.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — matches original fit, form, and function
• Gradient density strainer mesh optimized for filtration efficiency and fuel flow
• Engineered and developed in Canada to stringent OE tolerances
• Strainer material tested and validated for long-term capacity
• Protects fuel pump from harmful tank sediment and debris
• Helps prevent contamination-related fuel pump failures
• Drop-in installation — no modifications required

Spectra Premium has been a trusted name in fuel system components since 1989, combining OE design knowledge with aftermarket manufacturing efficiency. The STR85 strainer is an essential replacement item any time an in-tank fuel pump is serviced or replaced.
