Product Details

The Gates 24059 is a premium molded radiator coolant hose constructed from high-quality EPDM rubber for superior durability and performance. This pre-shaped lower radiator hose is designed to provide an OEM-quality replacement for specific vehicle cooling system applications.

Key Features:

  • Centerline length: 14-11/16 inches (373mm)
  • End 1 and End 2 inside diameter: 2-1/4 inches (57mm)
  • Factory-molded construction ensures precise fit and perfectly sealed connections
  • EPDM rubber construction resists heat, ozone, and chemical coolants
  • Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum conditions
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of hose failure
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R3 type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications
  • Approved for marine applications

Gates molded coolant hoses are manufactured to OEM-quality specifications for upper, lower, bypass, heater and other coolant applications, providing a cost-effective alternative to dealer parts. This hose is designed for coolant, water, and air applications only—not for use with fuel or oil. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing performance.
