The Airtex 5S7503 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (also called an ABS speed sensor or anti-lock brake sensor) is a direct-replacement part. It monitors wheel rotation speed and sends the data to the ABS control module. The module uses that signal to manage braking pressure and help prevent wheel lock-up.
