Product Details

The Airtex 3G1079 fuel injection pressure damper, also called a fuel pressure damper or fuel pulse damper, helps keep fuel delivery smooth in an electronic fuel injection (EFI) system. It works like a shock absorber for the fuel rail. It reduces the pressure pulses created each time the fuel injectors open and close.

Key Features:

  • Reduces fuel pressure oscillations in the fuel rail
  • Helps support steady fuel delivery and consistent fuel system performance
  • Designed to work alongside the fuel pressure regulator
  • Manufactured by Airtex Automotive Division as a replacement part

Interchange / Alternate Part Numbers:

  • Nissan OEM: 22675AM600, 22675AM60B
  • Duralast: FD472
  • Standard Motor Products: FPD55
  • BWD: 32554
  • Echlin: 2-12554
  • Sorensen: 800-4054

A worn or failed damper can cause fuel line noise or ticking, so replacing it restores quieter, smoother fuel system operation.
