Erickson Manufacturing: North America's Cargo Control Authority

When it comes to keeping cargo safe on the road, few names carry as much weight as Erickson Manufacturing. A family-run company with President and Founder Brent Erickson at the helm, Erickson has built a reputation as the leading provider of cargo control products in North America — offering a comprehensive range of solutions to secure, tow, load, and winch equipment and cargo of virtually every kind.

Erickson's roots go back to a simple, practical idea: solve tomorrow's problem today. The brand's very first product — the Barn Door Snugger — was designed to keep barn door panels from rattling when closed, a testament to the founder's instinct for identifying real-world needs and engineering smart, durable solutions. That same spirit of innovation continues to define the company's product development philosophy to this day.

Built on Quality, Safety, and Innovation

Erickson Mfg. is a voted-in member of the Web Sling and Tie Down Association (WSTDA), and all commercial straps are labeled in full compliance with DOT regulations. Working Load Limit (WLL) ratings are clearly printed on commercial webbing and sewn-in tags, and anchor points are stamped with maximum load limits — giving both professional haulers and everyday drivers the confidence they need on the road. With facilities in both Marine City, Michigan and Thamesville, Ontario, Erickson serves customers across the United States and Canada.

The brand's flagship innovation, the patented Re-Tractable® ratchet strap, eliminates the frustration of loose, flapping webbing by storing excess strap neatly inside a central housing — keeping straps clean, organized, and ready to use. Their Self-Lock Retractable system adds another layer of convenience and safety, automatically locking the strap length in place. These kinds of thoughtful engineering details are what set Erickson apart in a crowded cargo control market.

Whether you're securing a dirt bike in a truck bed, loading an ATV onto a trailer, hauling lumber, or recovering a stuck vehicle, Erickson has a product engineered for the job. Explore their top categories below, including Ratchet Tie Down Straps, Loading Ramps, Cargo Carriers, Tie Straps and Clips, and Tie Down Anchors.

A Commitment to Value

Erickson strives to deliver superior value without cutting corners on quality — because, as they put it, it's the family's name on the line. From light-duty cam buckle straps to heavy-duty winch straps rated at tens of thousands of pounds, the Erickson lineup covers every tier of the load securement spectrum. Their products are widely available through major retailers and continue to earn the trust of professional haulers, outdoor enthusiasts, and weekend warriors alike.
