The ACDelco 1521743 is a remanufactured or replacement Engine Control Module (ECM) — also commonly referred to as an Engine Control Unit (ECU) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) — engineered to meet original equipment specifications. ACDelco, as the official GM parts brand, manufactures this module to restore proper engine management functions including fuel delivery, ignition timing, emissions control, and sensor monitoring.

Key Features:

• Designed and manufactured to original equipment (OE) specifications for precise fit and function
• Controls critical engine functions including fuel injection, spark timing, idle speed, and exhaust emissions
• Processes input from engine sensors (O2, MAF, MAP, coolant temp, throttle position) to optimize engine performance
• Enables communication with other vehicle control modules via the OBD-II data network
• Supports diagnostic trouble code (DTC) storage and retrieval for accurate fault diagnosis
• Built and validated by ACDelco, the trusted GM OE parts supplier

ACDelco Engine Control Modules are a dependable choice for restoring factory-level engine management performance. Always verify the module is properly programmed or flashed to your vehicle's VIN before installation, as most ECMs require dealer-level or professional programming to function correctly after replacement.
