Cusco 460540AN Type OS Strut Tower Bar - Polished Aluminum

The Cusco Type OS is Cusco's most popular and iconic strut tower bar, engineered to reduce chassis flex and improve suspension stability under hard cornering. Bridging the two front strut towers, this brace prevents the misalignment of suspension mounting points that occurs during high lateral loads, allowing the suspension geometry to perform at its intended optimal condition.

The Type OS features a stylish oval-section tubular aluminum shaft with a brilliant high-polish finish. The hollow shaft interior is carefully engineered to strike the ideal balance between low weight and maximum rigidity. Cusco offers two internal construction variants — Type 1 (pressed ribbed) and Type 2 (sectioned) — and has pre-selected the optimal design for each specific application, so no guesswork is required.

Key Features:

• Oval cross-section polished aluminum main bar for a lightweight, high-rigidity design
• Internally engineered hollow shaft for optimal strength-to-weight ratio
• Steel end plate brackets finished in Cusco's trademark blue paint
• Bolt-on installation using standard hand tools — no drilling or fabrication required
• All necessary mounting hardware included

The Cusco Type OS Strut Bar is a proven, race-inspired chassis reinforcement upgrade that delivers measurable improvements in steering response, cornering balance, and overall chassis feel.
