Cusco 660551A Type CB Carbon Fiber Strut Tower Brace 40mm

The Cusco Type CB Strut Bar (660551A) is Cusco's premier carbon fiber strut tower brace, engineered to deliver exceptional chassis rigidity with minimal added weight. Unlike hybrid-construction alternatives, the Type CB is built around a full 40mm carbon fiber pipe with no aluminum core — pure layered carbon fiber from end to end for the ultimate balance of lightness and structural strength.

Key Features:

• Full Carbon Fiber Construction: 40mm round carbon fiber tube provides superior rigidity compared to aluminum or hybrid-shaft designs
• Lightweight Performance: All-carbon build significantly reduces weight over traditional metal strut bars while exceeding their stiffness
• Titanium Gray End Brackets: Steel end plates finished in titanium gray paint deliver precise, application-specific fitment with a premium look
• Clear Coat Finish: The carbon fiber bar is clear coated to protect the weave and enhance aesthetics
• Hardware Included: All necessary mounting hardware is included for a straightforward bolt-on installation using standard hand tools
• Precision Fitment: High-precision machined brackets ensure an exact fit to the strut towers with no modification required

By connecting the front or rear strut towers, the Cusco Type CB strut bar reduces chassis flex at one of the most critical points on the vehicle — minimizing suspension geometry changes under high cornering loads and delivering sharper, more predictable handling. It is part of Cusco's full lineup of strut tower braces and pairs with other Cusco chassis reinforcement components for a comprehensive rigidity upgrade.
