Cusco 00B009HB Oil Catch Can Universal Mirror Polished

The Cusco 00B009HB Oil Catch Can is designed to prevent blow-by oil and contaminants from entering your intake manifold and intercooler system. During engine operation, pressure builds in the crankcase, forcing oil vapor and combustion gases through the PCV system back into the intake tract. This oil vapor can reduce intercooler efficiency, coat intake valves, and lower effective octane ratings.

Key Features:

• Mirror polished aluminum construction for a premium appearance
• Universal mounting design fits a wide range of vehicles
• Integrated drain valve for easy oil removal and maintenance
• Baffled internal chamber helps separate oil from air flow
• Compact design allows flexible installation in tight engine bays
• Includes mounting bracket and necessary hardware

Installation involves connecting the catch can inline between the PCV valve outlet and the intake manifold. The internal baffle system forces the oil-laden air to slow down and change direction, causing heavier oil particles to condense and collect in the bottom of the canister while allowing cleaner air to continue to the intake. Regular draining of collected oil is recommended based on driving conditions, typically every 1,000-3,000 miles for high-performance or turbocharged applications.

The mirror polished finish complements both show and performance builds, making the Cusco Oil Catch Can an attractive and functional upgrade for enthusiasts looking to protect their engines from harmful oil buildup.
