Product Details

The Sherman F1A is a direct-fit replacement steel fuel tank designed for 1973–1978 Ford F-Series pickup trucks. With a 19-gallon capacity and rear-mount configuration, this tank is engineered to restore original fuel system functionality without the need for modifications.

This tank is built without a roll over valve hole, making it the correct specification for non-EEC (non-Electronic Engine Control) applications. The vent pipe is positioned toward the rear of the truck, matching the OEM layout for a straightforward installation.

Key Features:

  • 19-gallon capacity — matches the original OEM fuel tank size
  • Rear-mount design — installs in the factory location behind the rear axle
  • Without roll over valve hole — correct spec for non-EEC equipped trucks
  • Steel construction — durable, OE-style build quality
  • Direct-fit replacement — no cutting, drilling, or modifications required
  • Dimensions: 34-3/4" x 27" x 8-1/8"

OE and Cross-Reference Part Numbers: D8TZ9002M, 8DTZ9002M, 576-116, 197-902, F1A

This Sherman F1A fuel tank is the correct choice for restoring or replacing a worn or damaged original fuel tank on classic Ford F-Series trucks.

Muy bueno

Fast and easy and prices are very good compared to others selling same item

quick, cheap, and easy

Great communication, Great prices! They beat all the competitors hands down on price for my cold air intake order #18986. Quick shipping and they are now in my favorites for places to look for automobile needs. The only thing I would like to see them change is the speed of their website.
