Product Details

The Cometic C4360-040 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Subaru EJ20 engines. This high-performance gasket features a 103mm bore diameter and .040" (1.02mm) compressed thickness, making it ideal for applications requiring precise compression control.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 103mm bore diameter designed for EJ20 engine specifications
  • .040" compressed thickness for custom compression tuning
  • Coated with Cometic's proprietary viton rubber and stainless steel layers
  • Provides exceptional resistance to combustion pressure and thermal cycling
  • Reusable design allows for multiple installations when properly maintained

Cometic MLS gaskets are the preferred choice for performance and racing applications where reliability under extreme conditions is critical. The multi-layer design distributes load evenly while maintaining consistent clamping force across the entire sealing surface, even as the engine experiences thermal expansion and contraction.
