Product Details

The Cometic C4264-036 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Subaru EJ-series engines. This gasket features a .036" (0.91mm) compressed thickness and 100mm bore diameter, providing exceptional sealing capability for both stock and modified applications.

Engine Compatibility:

  • Subaru EJ25D engines
  • EJ251 and EJ252 engines
  • EJ253 and EJ255 Version 1 engines
  • 2004-2006 EJ257 engines

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction with multiple layers of stainless steel for superior durability
  • 100mm cylinder bore diameter for proper combustion chamber sealing
  • .036" compressed gasket thickness
  • Viton rubber coating on outer layers provides exceptional micro-sealing properties
  • Designed to withstand extreme cylinder pressures in turbocharged and high-compression applications
  • Accommodates thermal expansion and contraction better than traditional composite gaskets

Cometic MLS head gaskets are the preferred choice for performance builds, forced induction applications, and engines requiring maximum reliability under demanding conditions.
