Product Details

The Cometic C4263-027 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Subaru EJ22T turbocharged engines. This precision gasket features a 98mm bore diameter and .027" compressed thickness, providing superior sealing performance for both stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction for maximum durability and heat resistance
  • 98mm bore diameter designed for EJ22T engine specifications
  • .027" (0.69mm) compressed thickness for precise compression ratio control
  • Advanced material composition prevents gasket failure under high boost and temperature conditions
  • Embossed steel layers with expanded graphite facing for optimal sealing
  • Exceeds OEM specifications for reliability in performance applications

Cometic MLS gaskets are the industry standard for turbocharged and high-performance engines, offering superior resistance to blown gaskets compared to traditional composite designs. The multi-layer construction allows for controlled micro-movement between layers while maintaining a complete seal, making this gasket ideal for turbocharged Subaru engines producing elevated boost levels.
