Product Details

The Cometic C4243-060 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for the Mitsubishi 6G72 24-valve engine. This high-performance gasket features a 93mm bore diameter and .060" compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds and engine rebuilds requiring increased compression control.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • .060" (1.5mm) compressed thickness allows for custom compression ratio tuning
  • 93mm bore diameter optimized for 6G72 24-valve applications
  • Engineered for high-performance and forced induction applications
  • Provides excellent recovery and conformability to sealing surfaces
  • Resists combustion gas leakage, coolant seepage, and oil consumption

Cometic MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with unique coatings to maximize sealing performance. The embossed layers create a strong seal around combustion chambers, coolant passages, and oil galleries. This gasket is compatible with Mitsubishi 6G72 DOHC 24-valve engines found in vehicles like the Mitsubishi 3000GT, Dodge Stealth, and various other applications using this engine platform.

My dealings with this site have been great. I made a mistake on my address and emailed them to change it. I got quick responses every time. Would definitely use the site again.

My second time ordering from Autoplicity. I price shop online and Autoplicity had the lowest price both times. Fast ship with email notifications. Autoplicity will now be my "First" site I go to for my auto accessories. Great job Autoplicity.
