Cometic C4235-047 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket for Mitsubishi Bore - 4G63/4G63T 87mm

The Cometic C4235-047 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for Mitsubishi 4G63 and 4G63T engines. This high-performance gasket features an 87mm bore diameter and .047-inch compressed thickness, making it ideal for turbocharged applications and performance builds requiring reliable sealing under extreme conditions.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior strength and durability
• 87mm bore diameter engineered for 4G63/4G63T DOHC engines
• .047-inch (1.2mm) compressed thickness for optimal sealing
• Compatible with non-Evo 4G63 applications (excludes Evo 4-9 models)
• Handles high cylinder pressures in turbocharged and high-boost applications
• Embossed stainless steel construction with Viton rubber sealing beads

Cometic MLS head gaskets are built with multiple layers of stainless steel that work together to create a superior seal while allowing the gasket to recover from compression cycles. The active sealing material and embossments distribute pressure evenly across the sealing surface, preventing leaks even in high-performance and racing applications. This gasket is designed for 1990-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Galant, and Eagle Talon models equipped with the 4G63 or 4G63T DOHC engine, excluding Evolution 4-9 variants.
