Cometic C4235-040 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Bore Mitsubishi - 87mm 4G63/4G63T

The Cometic C4235-040 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Mitsubishi 4G63 and 4G63T DOHC engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features an 87mm bore diameter and .040" (1.0mm) compressed thickness, making it ideal for turbocharged and high-boost applications requiring superior sealing performance.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel construction provides maximum strength and durability under extreme cylinder pressures
• 87mm bore diameter optimized for 4G63/4G63T engine specifications
• .040" compressed thickness allows for increased compression or deck resurfacing compensation
• Advanced MLS design conforms to engine block and head imperfections for leak-free sealing
• Stainless steel construction with embossed beads around combustion chambers and fluid passages
• Compatible with DOHC 4G63/4G63T engines (excludes Evo 4-9 models)
• Ideal for turbocharged, high-compression, and performance engine builds

Cometic MLS gaskets are the preferred choice for performance engine builders, offering exceptional durability in demanding applications including street performance, racing, and forced induction. The multi-layer construction allows the gasket to recover from thermal expansion cycles while maintaining consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface.
