The Cometic C4235-036 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Mitsubishi 4G63 and 4G63T DOHC engines. This precision gasket features an 87mm bore diameter and .036" (0.9mm) compressed thickness, making it ideal for stock and mildly modified turbocharged applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under high combustion pressures
  • 87mm bore diameter optimized for 4G63/4G63T engine platforms
  • .036" compressed thickness for reliable compression ratio management
  • Designed for DOHC configurations (does not fit Evo 4-9 models)
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with synthetic rubber coating ensure excellent conformability to deck surfaces
  • Withstands extreme temperatures and cylinder pressures in turbocharged applications

Cometic MLS gaskets are a proven choice for high-performance Mitsubishi 4-cylinder builds, offering the durability needed for demanding street and track use. This gasket fits DSM platform vehicles including Eagle Talon TSi, Plymouth Laser RS Turbo, and Mitsubishi Eclipse GST/GSX models, as well as other 4G63T applications excluding Evolution 4-9.
