Product Details

The Cometic C4234-030 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Mitsubishi 4G63 and 4G63T DOHC engines. This gasket features a precision 86mm bore diameter and .030" compressed thickness, making it ideal for turbocharged applications and performance builds requiring enhanced sealing capabilities.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under extreme conditions
  • 86mm bore diameter optimized for 4G63/4G63T engine specifications
  • .030" (0.76mm) compressed thickness allows for custom compression ratio tuning
  • Designed for DOHC configurations, compatible with non-Evo applications (excludes Evo 4-9 models)
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with Viton rubber coating resist heat, pressure, and chemical degradation
  • Ideal for turbocharged and high-boost applications common in DSM and early Eclipse platforms

Cometic's MLS gasket technology uses multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced micro-sealing properties, ensuring maximum sealing performance between the cylinder head and engine block. This gasket is particularly well-suited for modified engines running increased boost pressures or compression ratios.
