Product Details

The Cometic C4234-027 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for Mitsubishi 4G63 and 4G63T DOHC engines. This gasket features a compressed thickness of .027 inches and an 86mm bore diameter, making it ideal for high-performance and turbocharged applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • .027-inch compressed thickness provides optimal sealing with stock or mildly modified engines
  • 86mm bore diameter engineered for precise fitment
  • Compatible with DOHC 4G63 and 4G63T engines (does not fit Evo 4-9 models)
  • Exceeds OEM specifications for strength and heat resistance
  • Designed to handle increased cylinder pressures in turbocharged applications

Cometic's MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating technology to provide exceptional resistance to blow-out and combustion gas leakage. The embossed layers create a micro-seal around cylinder bores and combustion chambers, ensuring consistent clamping pressure and long-term reliability even under extreme conditions.

Application Note: This gasket is designed for Mitsubishi 4G63/4G63T DOHC engines, except Evolution 4-9 models. Please verify engine specifications before ordering.
