The Power Stop K5439 Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Upgrade Kit is a complete, bolt-on brake solution engineered to deliver a meaningful performance upgrade over stock brakes. The kit includes everything needed for a full front and rear brake job — Z23 carbon-fiber ceramic brake pads, drilled and slotted disc rotors, and premium stainless-steel installation hardware.

Z23 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads

Power Stop's Z23 compound infuses carbon-fiber into a low-dust ceramic formula to significantly boost stopping power compared to traditional ceramic pads. The pads are manufactured using OE positive mold technology for uniform friction density, which helps control premature wear and noise. Dual-layer rubberized shims provide a noise insulator for virtually silent braking, and each pad is thermally scorched at the factory for fast break-in right out of the box. A powder-coated backing plate extends pad life by resisting rust and corrosion. Ceramic-based high-temp brake lubricant is included with every set.

Drilled, Slotted & Zinc-Plated Rotors

The cross-drilled holes allow maximum rotor cooling by venting heat during hard braking, while the rounded slots continuously wipe away gas and debris to maintain consistent rotor-to-pad contact. Rotors are cast from G3000-grade iron blanks and feature a Silver Zinc Dichromate plating (excluding hub assemblies) for long-lasting rust and corrosion resistance.
