Gates AX27 Tri-Power Molded Notch V-Belt 1/2" x 29"

The Gates AX27 Tri-Power Belt is a classical section replacement V-belt specifically designed to tackle the challenges associated with small sheave diameters on existing drives, providing a dependable solution that keeps your machinery running efficiently and reliably. This AX Section belt measures 1/2" in width, 5/16" in height, and features a 29" outside circumference.

Key Features:

• Exclusive ethylene EPDM rubber compound for increased temperature range to resist cracking
• Notches molded into the belt during manufacturing increase flexibility, making this belt well suited for drives with smaller diameter sheaves
• Flex-Bonded polyester cords for equal load distribution and reduced stress from flexing
• Raw edge construction with precision-ground sidewalls that give a uniform wedging action
• Working temperature range of -60 to +250 degrees F
• Static conductive - ISO 1813 and RMA IP3-3 compliant
• Non self-igniting - the belt will not catch fire from heat build-up, even with severe slippage

Featuring a composite, multi-purpose construction, Gates heavy-duty Tri-Power Belts resist oil, heat, contaminants, tensile and flexing forces, fatigue, and shock loads. The raw edge construction and special notch design makes the Tri-Power belt especially suited for drives requiring small diameter pulleys and back idlers. Ideal for compressors, pumps, agricultural equipment, industrial machinery, and other demanding power transmission applications.
