Gates 29570PB Green Stripe PowerBand Heavy-Duty Joined V-Belt Accessory Drive Belt

The Gates 29570PB Green Stripe PowerBand V-Belt is a heavy-duty joined V-belt engineered for demanding power transmission applications where standard single belt sets fall short. Part number 2/9570PB indicates a 2-strand banded belt with an outside circumference of approximately 58-1/16 inches (40.3" effective length).

Key Features:

• PowerBand Technology: Multiple V-belts joined by a permanent, high-strength tie band that function as a single unit for improved stability and even load distribution, with a secure strand fit into each pulley groove
• Flex-Weave® Cover: Patented fabric construction delivers extended protection to the belt core against oil, dirt, and heat
• Flex-Bonded Tensile Cords: Strongly bonded to the belt body for equal load distribution and absorption of bending stress without cord deterioration
• Concave Sidewalls: Provide proper cord support and full contact with sheave grooves for uniform loading and even wear
• Tie-Band Stability: High lateral rigidity guides the belt in a straight line and prevents belt flip-over or jumping off the drive — a common problem with individual belt sets on heavily shock-loaded drives
• Oil and Heat Resistant: Resists oil, heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging
• Meets SAE J1459 Specifications
• Temperature Range: -22°F to +140°F (-30°C to +60°C)

The Gates 29570PB is designed for problem, heavy-duty applications requiring belt sets — delivering superior shock load absorption and drive stability compared to conventional single V-belts. Gates is a world-leading manufacturer of power transmission belts, and the Green Stripe PowerBand line is backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
