ACDelco 15-63355 GM OE Air Conditioning Evaporator Core Kit

The ACDelco 15-63355 is a GM Original Equipment A/C Evaporator Core Kit designed as a direct OE replacement for GM vehicles. As a critical component of the vehicle's climate control system, the evaporator core functions as a heat exchanger housed within the HVAC assembly, where it cools and dehumidifies incoming cabin air for passenger comfort.

Refrigerant is metered into the evaporator via the orifice tube or expansion valve, absorbing heat from the cabin air as it passes over the evaporator coils and circulates through the vents. Common signs that an evaporator core may need replacement include warm or weak airflow through the vents, frequent system cycling, or a musty odor from the HVAC system.
