Product Details

The ACDelco 15-63205 is a remanufactured air conditioning evaporator core designed as a direct-fit replacement for GM vehicles. As a critical component of the vehicle's HVAC system, the evaporator core functions as a heat exchanger located inside the HVAC housing, where it cools and dehumidifies cabin air before it is distributed through the vents.

Refrigerant is metered into the evaporator core via the orifice tube or expansion valve, absorbing heat from the cabin air and delivering consistent, efficient cooling performance. This remanufactured unit is built to restore proper A/C function and meet the fit, form, and function requirements of the original equipment component it replaces.

Key Features:

  • Remanufactured A/C evaporator core for GM vehicle applications
  • Functions as a heat exchanger to cool and dehumidify cabin air
  • Designed to meet OE fit, form, and function specifications
  • Backed by ACDelco's manufacturer warranty
  • Sold individually

Common signs of a failing evaporator core include warm air blowing from the vents, weak airflow, a musty or sweet odor inside the cabin, or visible refrigerant leaks. Replacing a worn evaporator core with the ACDelco 15-63205 restores proper air conditioning performance and cabin comfort.
