Gates K040762 Micro-V 4-Rib V-Ribbed Serpentine Belt

The Gates K040762 is a 4-rib Micro-V® V-Ribbed Belt engineered for reliable performance across a wide range of multi-shaft, serpentine, backside idler, and V-flat drive applications. Gates Micro-V® belts are a trusted OEM-quality solution designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications.

Key Features:

• Exclusive Truncated Rib Profile: Greater flexibility than conventional V-ribbed belts, especially on extra-high-speed, small-diameter sheave drives
• No Bottom-Out Design: The shortened rib profile prevents the belt from bottoming out in sheave grooves, extending service life
• Debris Tolerance: Profile geometry helps the belt perform reliably even when debris is present in sheave grooves
• Reduced Heat Build-Up: Innovative rib design dissipates heat more efficiently, protecting belt integrity under demanding conditions
• Versatile Application: Ideally suited for multi-shaft, serpentine, backside idler, and V-flat drives
• 4-Rib Construction: Provides balanced power transmission and smooth, quiet operation
• OEM-Quality Standards: Manufactured by Gates, a globally recognized leader in belt and hose technology

The Gates Micro-V® belt line is engineered using high-quality EPDM rubber compounds and fiber-reinforced tensile cords for long-lasting durability and consistent performance. Whether used in automotive accessory drives or industrial equipment, the K040762 delivers dependable power transmission with minimal maintenance.
