The Gates 28592 is a high-quality plastic hose reducer connector designed to provide reliable connections in automotive cooling and heater hose systems. This compact connector reduces from 1/8" to 5/32" hose sizes, making it ideal for connecting hoses of different diameters in cars and trucks.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from glass-reinforced nylon for superior chemical resistance and durability
  • Withstands temperatures up to 480°F (250°C) for demanding engine compartment applications
  • Unique single barb design ensures excellent sealability with both single and dual inside diameter hoses
  • Built-in bulkheads guarantee proper insertion depth for secure, leak-free connections
  • Anti-rotation device prevents hose twisting and maintains proper orientation
  • OE equivalent quality meets or exceeds original equipment specifications

This reducer connector is part of the Gates Quick-Lok connector system, offering a fast and easy solution for heater hose connections. The precision-engineered design retains O-rings securely and can be combined with other Gates straight, elbow, and tee connectors to create virtually any hose configuration required for your application.

Nice site

Okay; so far!

Price is the lowest price you can get anywhere. Customer service goes the extra mile helping me with my oder. Delivery was fast and products were as advertised. I will definitely order from Autoplicity again.

Simple and easy so far

Good so far

Google searching produced this company as the lowest price on a set of spark plug wires. I like to deal with eBay, but I decided to try it out. Though the shipping was a bit more than Google estimated, it was still the lowest price! The item shipped quickly and was perfect with plenty of communication. Great seller!

Great company. Had part in stock ready to ship

This is the first time that I have ordered from Autoplicity and I will always search their site first when looking for aftermarket parts for my car. I bought an air oil separator that is normally 300 for 220! I ordered on monday and received it on thursday. I was shocked to receive it so fast. Great company and I will definitely buy from them again.

Love the prices hope everything turns out ok

I placed an order and 2 days later it was at my door!!! Very fast shipping and easy to navigate website! I would definitely recommend this site to all my friends. Keep up the great job!

Great prices on a lot of good stuff, shipping isn't what's listed in price comparison, but competitive.
