Product Details

The Gates 28552 is a 1/8-inch Y-connector hose fitting designed for heater hose applications in automotive and light truck cooling systems. This plastic connector provides a reliable, easy-to-install solution for branching hose configurations.

Key Features:

  • Y-connector design allows single hose to split into two branches
  • Glass-reinforced nylon construction resists chemicals and temperatures up to 480°F (250°C)
  • Unique single barb design provides superior seal with single or dual inside diameter hoses
  • Built-in bulkheads ensure proper insertion depth for secure connections
  • Anti-rotation device prevents hose twisting during installation and operation
  • 1/8-inch size for compact heater hose applications

Part of the Gates Quick-Lok connector system, this Y-fitting is an OE equivalent replacement that delivers professional-grade performance. The reinforced nylon material provides excellent durability while maintaining compatibility with automotive coolants and chemicals commonly found in cooling systems.

had what I wanted when others didn't

Not sure why 1 item qualified for free shipping and the other didn't. They were both in stock. One was right side and one was left side. The price dropped after I placed my order but thanks to the buySAFE I would submit for the difference.

I ordered an Odyssey battery for my UTV from autoplicity and I must say the price is by far the lowest from anywhere on the web. Great service and fast shipping!! They keep you updated throughout the whole process. Autoplicity will definately be my first stop for things here on out.

By far the best price I found on a Bak flip bed cover! Shipped the next day, although I did have to call to get the tracking number. However, customer service was very nice and emailed me the tracking number immediately. I will do business here again!

prices are good. After I paid it took them 5 days to ship the order. Communication is not very good with autoplicity.
