Product Details

The Gates 28606 is a straight plastic hose connector designed for use with 1-inch (25.4mm) heater hoses and fuel lines. This versatile connector features a unique single-barb design that provides superior sealability between single or dual inside diameter hoses, making it ideal for coolant, fuel, and fluid transfer applications in automotive, marine, RV, and powersports systems.

Key Features:

  • Glass-reinforced nylon construction resists coolant additives, gasoline, diesel fuel, oil, and LPG
  • Extreme temperature resistance from -40°F to 480°F (-40°C to 250°C)
  • Working pressure rated up to 2 MPa (20 kg/cm²)
  • Integrated bulkheads ensure proper insertion depth for secure connections
  • Anti-rotation device prevents hose twisting and maintains proper orientation
  • Straight connector configuration accommodates inline hose routing

Gates plastic hose connectors are available in straight, 90-degree elbow, and tee configurations, allowing you to construct almost any custom hose configuration. The durable glass-reinforced nylon material provides long-lasting performance in harsh automotive and industrial environments where exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, and pressure are common.

Best price that I could find. It was real easy to order. Placed order on wed received it on Friday, doesn't get much better than that. Product looks great! <br>3/16/2012<br>Ok, product was to big for my setup needed to exchange for smaller product. They are going to charge me a restocking fee of 15% Even when my product did not fall under their conditions. This is crap. False advertisement. I was ok with paying all the extra shipping fees which will be about the amount of the product when it was all said and done. So mad don't think I'm gonna mess with this company anymore. They don't practice what they preach. Beware :(<br>3/20/2012<br>OK, Update number 3.<br>Received E-mail today saying that Autoplicity would now Not Charge Me a 15% restocking fee and they were sorry for the inconvenience. Very Happy Now this is the way to do business. <br>Thanks Rob :)<br>3/21/2012
