OTC Tools 7955 Ford Probe Air Bag Simulator 1-Ohm Diagnostic Tool

The OTC Tools 7955 Air Bag Simulator is a professional diagnostic tool designed specifically for Ford Probe vehicles equipped with air bag systems. This precision instrument features a special 1-ohm resistor that enables technicians to safely diagnose air bag system faults without compromising safety or functionality.

Key Features:

• 1-ohm resistor specifically calibrated for Ford Probe air bag systems
• Plugs directly into vehicle harness connector to restore power and simulate complete circuit
• Essential for diagnosing air bag fault codes when module must be removed
• Allows safe testing during column repairs, after deployment, or when airbag warning lamp indicates system fault
• Compact design for easy storage in tool box

Air bag systems with self-diagnostic capabilities require specialized equipment to properly troubleshoot fault codes. When the air bag module is disconnected, the circuit remains open and diagnosis becomes impossible. The OTC 7955 simulator solves this problem by maintaining circuit continuity, allowing technicians to read trouble codes from the air bag readiness lamp and perform comprehensive system diagnostics. This tool is essential equipment for body shops and automotive service centers working on Ford Probe vehicles.
