Brembo 1B2.8002A1 Gran Turismo Big Brake Kit High Performance Upgrade

Brembo Gran Turismo Big Brake Kit - Ultimate Performance Upgrade

The Brembo 1B2.8002A1 Gran Turismo (GT) Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of braking technology for high-performance street and track applications. Engineered with larger calipers and rotors, this system dramatically increases thermal capacity and brake torque, delivering unmatched stopping power and fade resistance under demanding conditions.

Two-Piece Rotor Configuration

The advanced two-piece floating hat and rotor design reduces unsprung and rotating weight while improving heat dissipation. This construction allows the rotor to expand and contract independently from the mounting hat, minimizing thermal stress and warping during extreme use.

Key Features and Components

• High-performance multi-piston calipers (2, 4, 6, or 8 pistons depending on application) with sequentially sized pistons for balanced pad wear and optimal pressure distribution
• Available in red, black, or silver caliper finishes to match your vehicle's style
• Two-piece floating rotor assemblies available in drilled or slotted configurations, up to 16 inches (405mm) diameter
• DOT/TÜV approved stainless steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and durability
• High-performance brake pads engineered specifically for the system
• Floating anti-rattle hardware for quiet operation
• Precision-machined billet aluminum caliper mounting brackets
• TÜV certification on most applications

One-Piece Rotor Configuration

For those seeking a cost-effective performance upgrade, Brembo also offers Gran Turismo systems with one-piece rotors. These kits maintain the same commitment to quality with oversized calipers and rotors that significantly improve brake torque and thermal capacity compared to stock systems.

Complete System Benefits

• Fully compatible with ABS and traction control systems
• Complete hardware included for seamless installation
• Significant reduction in brake fade during spirited driving or track use
• Improved modulation and pedal feel
• Enhanced thermal management for consistent performance
• Reduced unsprung weight improves handling dynamics

Important: Proper wheel fitment verification is critical before installation. Measure your wheel's inner clearance to ensure compatibility with the larger caliper and rotor assembly. This system is designed for vehicles requiring substantial brake performance upgrades for street or track use.
