The MSD 8287 Pro Power Series Ignition Coil is a high-performance, direct-replacement coil engineered specifically for GM LS2 and LS7 engine platforms. Built on MSD's proven Multiple Spark Coil (MSC) technology, the 8287 slots directly into the factory coil location using the stock connectors — no modifications required. The epoxy-filled, square-body housing is finished in red and constructed to withstand the demands of both street and performance-oriented applications.

MSD's engineers redesigned the internal winding architecture using a patented winding design and materials to maximize spark energy delivery across the entire RPM range.
