Hedman Hedders 69010 Mid-Length Street Headers Uncoated Steel 1-5/8 Inch

Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, specializing in Chevy truck headers manufactured in its Whittier, California facility. This set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next.

Key Features:

• Mid-length header style with 1-5/8 inch primary tube diameter
• 3 inch collector diameter
• Handcrafted mild steel construction with uncoated finish
• Gasketless ball and socket collector design allows for exhaust system misalignment
• 16-gauge steel primary tubes
• Fits factory GM aluminum angle plug and straight plug heads
• Includes all necessary gaskets and mounting hardware

The mid-length design keeps the header connection up, tighter to the body, so you can keep your entire exhaust above the frame rails. This design provides significantly more low and mid-range power than cast manifolds, while offering better ground clearance and component compatibility than long tube headers.

These headers are uncoated and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. Hedman guarantees these Street headers to be free from defects—including cracks in the tubes and welds—for the life of the headers.
