Product Details

The Airtex 1S1394 is a direct-fit engine cooling fan switch designed to control the operation of the electric cooling fan based on coolant temperature. This switch signals the fan relay or fan motor to activate when the engine reaches a specified temperature threshold, helping to maintain optimal operating temperature and prevent overheating.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE replacement for precise fit and function
  • Activates the electric cooling fan at the correct coolant temperature set point
  • Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Designed for reliable, long-term performance in demanding engine bay conditions
  • Simple plug-and-play installation using existing wiring harness connectors

The Airtex 1S1394 cooling fan switch is an essential component of the engine cooling system. When the coolant reaches the switch's calibrated temperature, it sends a signal to engage the electric radiator fan, drawing airflow through the radiator to cool the engine. A faulty fan switch can result in the fan failing to activate, leading to engine overheating. Replacing a worn or failed switch with this Airtex unit restores proper cooling fan operation and helps protect the engine from heat damage.
