Product Details

The ACDelco 15-71220 is a GM Original Equipment HVAC Climate Control Vacuum Selector Valve (also referred to as a Vacuum Select Valve) designed to deliver precise, factory-matched performance. Cross-referenced as GM part number 16037769, this valve is a direct-fit OEM replacement for the original component found in select General Motors vehicles.

The vacuum selector valve plays a critical role in the HVAC system, directing vacuum signals to the various actuators that control airflow mode doors and temperature blend functions within the heating and air conditioning system. A failed or leaking vacuum selector valve can result in loss of mode control, stuck airflow direction, or erratic climate control behavior.

Key Features:

  • GM Original Equipment part — engineered, tested, and validated by General Motors
  • Direct OE replacement for precise fit and function
  • Controls vacuum distribution to HVAC actuators for proper airflow mode selection
  • OEM cross-reference: GM part number 16037769
  • Part classification: HVAC Control Vacuum Control Valve / Temperature Controls and Related Components

As a genuine ACDelco OEM component, the 15-71220 meets the same standards as the original factory-installed part, ensuring reliable, long-term climate control system performance.
