Product Details

The EBC Redstuff DP3997C is a low dust ceramic brake pad set built for fast street use. The compound is synthetic fiber based and enhanced with ceramic particles. It is designed to give strong braking from cold and to keep improving as the pads heat up.

Key Features:

  • Low dust: EBC states dust is reduced by 60-90 percent compared with other pads, and the minimal dust left is easy to remove with a simple sponge wash because the pads contain no steel fibre particles.
  • Strong cold bite: Braking from cold is described as equal to or better than original pads, and it improves as the pads warm up.
  • Ceramic-enhanced synthetic fiber compound: Longer lasting, better braking and quieter than the earlier pre-ceramic Redstuff compound.
  • EBC Brake-In surface coating: Conditions the rotor surface and speeds up pad bed-in.
  • Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5.
  • Fast road performance: Suited to repeated heavy braking, and EBC reports it stopped a passenger car 13 metres shorter than OEM pads from 100 mph (160 kph).
  • Regulatory approval: Most EBC Red Ceramic pads are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation.

Bed-in note: This is a hard wearing pad, so bed-in can take as long as 1000 miles while the pad conforms to the shape of the brake rotor. Be patient during this period.

I am extremely satisfied with Autoplicity in terms of service, price, and shipping. I was shopping for a set of N-FAB step bars for my truck and was ready to purchase from Amazon when I decided to look around to see if there were better prices. I stumbled upon Autoplicity and was surprised to see their price on the bars. I checked with their online chat customer service to confirm that they would fit my truck and that the price was for a pair of the bars and not just one. (That's how low the price was!). I then placed my order and the bars arrived at my doorstep 3 days later! Autoplicity gets an A+ in my book and I'll definitely be coming back.

Very fast shipping and price is rite

Excellent, except I couldn't find where to enter my 20OFFSHIPPING Coupon Code.
