Product Details

The EBC Redstuff DP3767C is a low dust ceramic brake pad (disc brake pad set) designed for fast street use and repeated heavy braking. The pad material is a synthetic fiber based compound enhanced with ceramic particles.

Key Features:

  • Low dust: EBC states it reduces dust by 60-90 percent versus other pads. The pad contains no steel fibre particles, so the small amount of dust that remains washes off easily with a sponge.
  • Strong cold bite: brakes well from cold, comparable to or better than original pads, and performance improves as the pads heat up.
  • Improved over earlier Redstuff: compared with the pre-ceramic Redstuff compound, EBC says this material lasts longer, brakes better and is quieter.
  • Brake-In surface coating: conditions the rotor surface and speeds up pad bed-in.
  • Nominal friction coefficient: 0.5.
  • Braking performance: EBC states it has stopped a passenger car, sedan, sport compact or hot hatch 13 metres sooner than OEM pads from 100 mph (160 kph).
  • Regulation: most EBC Red Ceramic pads are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation.

Bed-in note: this is a hard wearing pad, and bed-in can take as long as 1000 miles while the pad takes up the shape of the disc (brake rotor). Patience is needed during this period.

A good choice for drivers who want a clean-wheel, low dust pad with strong everyday braking and capability for spirited road use.

I am extremely satisfied with Autoplicity in terms of service, price, and shipping. I was shopping for a set of N-FAB step bars for my truck and was ready to purchase from Amazon when I decided to look around to see if there were better prices. I stumbled upon Autoplicity and was surprised to see their price on the bars. I checked with their online chat customer service to confirm that they would fit my truck and that the price was for a pair of the bars and not just one. (That's how low the price was!). I then placed my order and the bars arrived at my doorstep 3 days later! Autoplicity gets an A+ in my book and I'll definitely be coming back.
