Product Details

The ACDelco 38251 is a Professional Series drive belt tensioner designed to maintain proper tension on the serpentine belt throughout its service life. A properly functioning belt tensioner is critical to the operation of all engine-driven accessories, including the alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, and water pump.

ACDelco Professional belt tensioners are engineered to meet original equipment specifications, delivering consistent belt tension to reduce wear and prevent belt slippage. The tensioner features a spring-loaded pivot arm and integrated pulley that automatically compensates for belt stretch and wear over time.

Key Features:

  • Designed to meet original equipment fit, form, and function
  • Spring-loaded mechanism maintains consistent belt tension automatically
  • Integrated tensioner pulley included for a complete assembly
  • Durable construction engineered for long service life
  • Direct-fit replacement for straightforward installation
  • Part of the ACDelco Professional line, built to GM OE standards

The ACDelco 38251 belt tensioner is a direct-fit replacement that restores proper serpentine belt tension, helping to protect your engine's accessory drive system and prevent premature belt and component wear.

Perfect transaction. Perfectly satisfied. Best price anywhere, same-day shipping. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Autoplicity.

Quick, Fast, Easy. Item I wanted was right there!

I've only just placed my order but the item cost less with you than anywhere else and the ordering process couldn't have been easier. Thanks!

Ordered a Dee Zee bed mat for my truck. Got it right away and it fits like a glove!!!

Easy checkout and could actually FIND the part. The only other thing I would want is a install picture. Just to make sure I was buying the right item.

Very easy and quick

Autoplicity has the best prices and customer service. The online chat is a great function to get more information about an item. Also they had an item in stock that I couldn't find anywhere else.

good so far

Searched local and web stores for an Exedy clutch kit. Even with shipping, Autoplicity beat the others on price. They are an Amazon seller so I was not as concerned about buying from them as I usually am when buying things on the web.

Low prices, Fast shipping and great service!
