EBC DP31730C Redstuff Low Dust Ceramic Brake Pad Set

The EBC Redstuff DP31730C is a premium low-dust ceramic brake pad designed for enthusiasts who demand exceptional street performance without the mess of traditional pads. This advanced brake pad reduces brake dust by 60-90% compared to standard pads, and the minimal dust that does accumulate wipes away easily with a simple sponge wash since it contains no steel fiber particles.

Key Features:

• Synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles for superior performance
• Excellent cold bite—brakes effectively right from cold start and improves as temperature increases
• Proven to reduce stopping distance by 13 meters from 100 mph compared to OEM pads
• EBC Brake-In surface coating conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in
• Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 for consistent, reliable braking
• Approximately 50% dust reduction with significantly easier cleaning than semi-metallic pads
• Most applications ECE R90 brake safety regulation approved

The Redstuff ceramic compound represents a significant advancement over previous EBC formulations, offering longer pad life, improved braking performance, and quieter operation. Due to the hard-wearing nature of the material, a bed-in period of up to 1000 miles is required for optimal performance as the pad conforms to the brake rotor surface. Ideal for fast street driving, spirited canyon runs, and repeated heavy braking applications on passenger cars, sport compacts, and hot hatches.
