Product Details

The Purolator P246 transmission filter is designed to protect your automatic transmission by capturing harmful particles, debris, and abrasives that accumulate in transmission fluid during normal operation. By filtering contaminants before they can cause wear to precision transmission components, this filter helps extend both fluid life and transmission longevity.

Key Features:

  • High-efficiency filtration media traps damaging particles and contaminants
  • Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for fit and performance
  • Helps maintain proper transmission fluid flow and pressure
  • Protects expensive transmission components from premature wear
  • Direct replacement for original equipment filter

For optimal transmission performance and protection, replace your transmission filter every two years or 24,000 miles, or follow the service intervals specified in your vehicle's owner's manual. Regular filter replacement is essential preventive maintenance that can help avoid costly transmission repairs.
