The Gates 23817 is a premium modular radiator lower coolant hose designed for demanding automotive cooling system applications. This molded hose features integrated quick-connect fittings for a precise, OEM-quality fit and easy installation.

Key Features:

  • 32-inch centerline length with 2-1/4 inch inside diameter at both ends
  • EPDM rubber construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior durability
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation—the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum without internal springs
  • Two integrated quick-connect fittings for secure, leak-free connections
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications

Construction:

  • EPDM tube resistant to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants
  • Heat-resistant EPDM cover for extended service life
  • Molded design manufactured to OEM specifications
  • Material composition: EPDM Rubber, Plastic, Steel

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal performance. This hose replaces OEM part numbers including Ford 8C3Z-8286-B, Motorcraft KM-4950, ACDelco 22712L, and Dayco 72637/E72637.

Note: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications. Designed specifically for coolant system use.

Got it in the time they said id get it and for a great price too ...had to call a few times to see the status because it came from the manufacturer wasn't really a big issue customer service was very helpful all the times I talked to them very very happy with my new intake and will be glad to reccommend or use autoplicity again
