Product Details

The Timken RET171 is a precision-engineered retaining clip designed to secure unitized wheel bearing assemblies to the steering knuckle. This essential component ensures proper retention and alignment of the bearing unit during vehicle operation.

Key Features:

  • Engineered specifically for unitized hub bearing installations
  • Features optimally positioned notches for easy installation and removal with standard snap ring pliers
  • Manufactured to Timken's strict quality standards for reliable performance
  • Prevents bearing assembly separation from the knuckle under load
  • Direct replacement for original equipment retaining clips

This retaining clip is a critical component during wheel bearing service, providing secure attachment between the bearing assembly and steering knuckle. The strategically placed notches allow technicians to use conventional snap ring pliers for straightforward installation and removal, making bearing replacement more efficient.

Fast and easy shopping

I bought a Motive pressure brake bleeder from Autoplicity. I have been looking around for different prices for quite a while, and their price, even with shipping cost, was the lowest. After ordering, I received a notification of shipment and tracking number. The item arrived well packaged, complete, and intact within a few days. I am looking forward to using it.
