Product Details

The Gates 23683 is a premium molded coolant hose designed for upper radiator applications. This OEM-quality replacement hose is factory-molded to provide an exact fit for specific vehicle applications, ensuring proper coolant flow and system performance.

Key Features:

  • Pre-shaped design for precise fit and easy installation
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Heat and ozone resistant EPDM construction withstands harsh under-hood conditions
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications
  • Aramid or rayon knit reinforcement for added durability
  • Re-engineered materials resist vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal springs
  • Approved for marine applications

Gates molded coolant hoses are manufactured with OEM-quality specifications, providing a reliable alternative to dealer parts at a better value. The pre-shaped design ensures perfectly sealed connections and eliminates the guesswork during installation. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal performance and leak prevention.
