EBC DP31591C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pad Set

The EBC Redstuff DP31591C is a low dust ceramic brake pad set built for fast street driving. The compound is synthetic fiber based and enhanced with ceramic particles, and it contains no steel fibre particles. The small amount of dust it does produce washes off easily with a sponge.

Key Features:

• Low dust: reduces dust by 60-90 percent, and emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads
• Strong cold braking: brakes well from cold, as good as original pads or better, and improves as the pad heats up
• Fast road performance: suited to repeated heavy braking
• Longer life and quieter operation: lasts longer, brakes better and runs quieter than the earlier pre-ceramic Redstuff compound
• EBC Brake-In surface coating: conditions the rotor surface and speeds up pad bed-in
• Friction: nominal friction coefficient of 0.5
• Certification: most EBC Red Ceramic pads are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety regulation

Bed-in note: this is a hard wearing pad, and bed-in can take as long as 1000 miles while the pad takes up the shape of the brake rotor. Be patient during this period.

A good choice for drivers who want strong street braking without heavy brake dust on their wheels.
