Product Details

Prothane's 7-129-BL Body Mount Bushing Set is a direct replacement for the worn, deteriorated OEM rubber body mounts found on 1955–1957 Chevrolet full-size sedans. Over time, factory rubber bushings compress, crack, and lose their ability to properly isolate the body from the frame, resulting in sloppy handling, unwanted flex, and increased road noise. Upgrading to Prothane's polyurethane bushings restores proper body-to-frame alignment and dramatically improves overall chassis rigidity.

Key Features:

  • Manufactured from Prothane's proprietary black polyurethane compound for superior durability over OEM rubber
  • Provides the ideal balance of rigidity and resilience — firmer feel without excessive harshness
  • Resists degradation from oil, ozone, UV exposure, and road chemicals
  • Suitable for both street driving and off-road use
  • Includes all necessary bushings for a complete body mount replacement
  • Precision-molded to OEM dimensions for a straightforward, drop-in fit
  • Black (BL) color finish

Prothane body mount bushing sets are engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications while delivering the long-term performance that original rubber simply cannot sustain. This kit is an excellent foundation upgrade for any restoration, restomod, or performance build on a classic 1955–1957 Chevrolet full-size sedan.

Awesome

Great price and good company to buy from!

I ordered CV axles from Autoplicity and had them in less than a week! Definitely the best prices for quality product on this item. Will be a return customer for sure!

I was apprehensiveness at first to make a major purchase with Autoplicity due to their extremely low price and lack of reviews. I decided to take the chance and I am very glad I did. I made my order on a Monday morning at 0900 eastern time and my product arrived on Wednesday at 3pm. The item was exactly as described and the most astonishing part is that my purchase was released from the factory less than 45 days ago. I was expecting a model that had been sitting on a shelf for the last year and needed to be updated. That was not the case. I will definitely order from Autoplicity again in the future.

The item was what i was looking for and the price was right. Item was very good quality. Would order from Autoplicity again.

Very good price. Super quick delivery. Will def. buy from them again. Highley recomend them

Sweetest price on this K&N Filter anywhere! Shipped within 24hrs too. I'm coming back to shop for my car next.
