ARP Pro Series cylinder head studs are engineered for serious engine builders who demand the ultimate in clamping force and reliability. Manufactured from premium grade 8740 chromoly alloy and heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength, these studs far exceed the capabilities of standard Grade 8 hardware and deliver consistent performance in high-stress applications.

Advanced Manufacturing Process:

  • Each stud is vertically rack heat-treated to ensure complete and uniform heat penetration throughout the entire fastener
  • Centerless ground after heat-treat for near-perfect concentricity, ensuring gaskets and cylinder heads align effortlessly during assembly
  • Thread rolled after heat-treat for approximately 1000% better fatigue strength compared to studs threaded before heat-treat
  • Precision manufacturing allows components to literally glide into position with perfect alignment

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Premium quality parallel ground washers for even load distribution
  • Conventional hex style nuts for reliable clamping

This kit is designed for select Ford small block 351W applications including factory heads, M-6049-J302, SVO high port, M-6049-L302 GT-40 style heads, Edelbrock aluminum heads, and Iron Dart heads with 1/2-13 cylinder block threads.
