Product Details

The Prothane 7-104-BL body mount bushing kit delivers a cost-effective upgrade for 1973-1980 GM vehicles, replacing worn or deteriorated factory rubber bushings with high-performance polyurethane components. This comprehensive 12-piece kit eliminates the soft, mushy feel of original equipment mounts while maintaining enough compliance to prevent unwanted vibration and noise.

Key Features:

  • Complete 12-bushing kit for full body mount replacement
  • Constructed from durable polyurethane for superior longevity compared to rubber
  • Provides improved chassis rigidity and more precise handling response
  • Maintains adequate resilience to keep cabin quiet and comfortable
  • Resists deterioration from oils, chemicals, road salt, and environmental exposure
  • Suitable for both street-driven vehicles and off-road applications
  • Blue polyurethane finish

Body mount bushings are critical isolation points between the frame and body, and worn mounts can lead to squeaks, rattles, and imprecise vehicle dynamics. This Prothane kit restores proper body-to-frame spacing and significantly improves the overall feel and responsiveness of your GM truck or SUV.
